We chose this board for its unique aged wood with a rustic edge that only wear and time can deliver. Made in India during the early to mid 1900s, this round wooden board was originally used in everyday kitchen work and now serves as a sculptural, functional decor accent. The bleached teakwood shows soft patina, tool marks, and distressed aging that highlight its long history. Its compact scale and raised profile make it ideal for elevating candles, bowls, or cloches, or for layering with other wood and stone objects. Each board is hand selected for its unique grain, tone, and natural imperfections.
