This French blue ticking fabric pillow cover brings a relaxed, lived-in look using authentic antique textiles that feel timeless and easy in a space.
It solves the need for a larger accent pillow that adds history and texture without feeling busy, grounding a sofa or bed with subtle pattern and soft color.
The front is made from new and unused old stock French blue ticking, paired with a reverse of 19th century homespun linen. Both fabrics date to the late 1800s through early 1900s. While the ticking was never used, it still carries gentle age-related character, and the homespun linen shows natural patina and small imperfections from time. The cover is newly constructed with a zipper closure, blending antique textiles with modern function. This piece works beautifully in classic, coastal, wabi-sabi, or modern vintage interiors where texture matters.
