Made by artisans in Southern India, an vintage soapstone biscuit mold plate carved from one solid piece of stone.
Each carved stone plate is an organic one-of-a-kind, once used to mold hand-made Indian cookies or biscuits.
We love to use them in todays modern design as a textural riser to display just about anything. The stone is natural, organic shaped and aged so it may have natural stone imperfections, adding to its desirable charm. Each stone biscuit mold is circa 1950s.
