Mic Century Oaxaca Mexico Pottery | Hand Made Barro Negro Pitcher

We love adding these one of a kind artisan made finds to any decor. This pitcher made after 1950s, when a potter named Doña Rosa devised a way to make matte black pottery shiny by polishing before firing. This pitcher had a wonderful etched floral design set on three feet. It’s a stand-alone beauty! 

Era: vintage

Condition: Very Good; age wear, patina. The pot has one worn hole in the body of the pottery and several intentional holes made by the potter.
