This vintage midcentury studio pottery vase brings wonderful texture and an earthy, handmade quality to a shelf, table or collected pottery display. The tall hand-thrown stoneware form has visible wheel-thrown ribbing with a speckled oatmeal glaze and a deep glossy brown glaze flowing around the upper portion. Purchased from the estate of a midcentury collector, this substantial vessel is faintly artist signed on the underside and dates approximately to the 1960s–1970s.
We especially love the contrast of the dark glaze against the warm, speckled stoneware. Explore more collected pieces in our Vintage Stoneware & Pottery Collection and Vintage Pottery Vases & Decorative Vessels Collection.
