I see a beautiful primitive piece of wall art when I look at this rare and historical tool. Of European origin, this flax comb was once used to prepare flax and wool fibers to be spun into cloth. All original with square nails and wood worming, we love its rustic simplistic appeal. Signed by the maker and dated 1823 or 1893.
Condition: Very Good; age-use wear, as found condition, patina.
