Found in France, a large size vintage banneton basket used for the final raise of dough before baking. We love to use as intended or lined with linen for serving warm bread. Its a hand-made one-of-a kind for making those beautiful grooves on a loaf of freshly baked bread. It has patina from years of use and wear. Use as intended or fill, use as a bread serving basket or fruit basket on the kitchen table. Circa 1920-50s.
