This blue transferware plate set was found in England and dates to the late 1800s. The pale Rochester transferware pattern offers a softer take on classic blue and white ironstone, making it especially lovely for open display, tea service, or layered tabletop styling.
We especially love the gentle color and aged surface of these antique saucers. The crazing, discoloration, rim wear, and small imperfections reflect more than a century of use and give each piece its own character. One plate has a flea bite chip on the underside rim, as noted and shown in the photos.
