Its unusual form features a raised woven center surrounded by a generous circular basket, likely used for arranging and presenting bread in a bakery or household setting. The original old fabric lining was removed, while remnants of its linen ties remain. Today, we especially love it displayed in a kitchen or hung as sculptural French wall decor.

Product Details

Materials: Handwoven wicker with remnants of original linen ties

Origin: France

Era: Circa 1920s

Dimensions: 15.5" Dia. x 4" H

Condition: Authentic antique condition with age-related wear, breaks and losses to the wicker from decades of use.
