The small round convex mirror is surrounded by a deeply fluted plaster frame with a timeworn gilt finish, softened over the years to warm cream, muted gold, and exposed undertones. The naturally aged mirror plate has wonderful mottling and silvering loss that gives the reflection an atmospheric quality we would absolutely leave untouched.

Product Details

Materials: Molded plaster/gesso, gilt finish, convex mirror glass

Origin: Unknown, no makers mark

Era: Likely mid-20th century

Dimensions: 7.5" Dia. x .75" H

Condition: Vintage condition with substantial natural wear and losses to the gilt finish, surface patina, and desirable age-related deterioration and silvering loss to the mirror plate.
