The cylindrical vessel is assembled from copper with a hand-hammered lower section, raised reinforcing bands and wonderfully sculptural brass elephant-head handles on either side. Years of age have created a rich reddish-brown surface with darkened areas, exposed copper and touches of verdigris throughout.
