This Antique Wood Mortar or Grinding Bowl is a versatile favorite for any modern home decor.
Hand carved out of a single piece of wood and hailing from India, this one is very old and heavy with a worn center from grinding. Once used to grind spices or grains, now it makes a warm and beautiful home accent piece! We love how the smooth worn center shows decades of use.
You can fill them with just about anything in any room from snacks to pretties or just display as a standalone piece of hand carved art. A versatile one of a kind for modern home design.
Era: Antique
Condition: Very Good; age-use wear, as found condition, patina, hairline cracks are stable and the bowl is solid.
From forgotten to fabulous - our up-cycled decor celebrates reuse, character, and conscious living.
