Iron Mountain Stoneware was produced in Laurel Bloomery, Tennessee, between 1965 and 1992 by master potter Nancy Patterson Lamb in partnership with Albert Mock. Today, Iron Mountain Stoneware is highly collectible for its substantial hand-thrown forms, earthy glazes, and exceptional craftsmanship. Every piece was individually hand dipped or hand painted, meaning no two examples are exactly alike. The subtle variations in color, glaze movement, and form are celebrated as part of the artistry and individuality that make this American stoneware so appealing to collectors and everyday users alike.
