Aged Copper Candle Sconces with Beautiful Original Patina

When a wall needs warmth and character without taking up much space, vintage candle sconces are an easy addition. This pair of vintage hammered copper wall candle sconces has a beautifully aged, untouched patina with deep brown, warm copper and subtle verdigris tones developed naturally over time. Each sconce features a shaped copper backplate, generous drip pan and simple candle cup, with the hand-worked surface giving the pair just enough texture. We especially love them displayed together with simple taper candles.

• Era/Date: Vintage, estimated circa 1940s-1960s
• Dimensions: Each measures 8" L x 4.25" W x 5" D
• Condition: Very good vintage condition with no structural issues. Original surface variation, oxidation, darkening and areas of verdigris are present throughout. The copper retains its beautiful original aged patina and has not been polished. Please review photos.
• Use/Styling: Designed to hold taper candles and mount to the wall. Beautiful flanking artwork or a mirror, or displayed together on a smaller wall.
• Sourcing: Hand selected as a matched pair for their simple form and wonderfully aged copper surface.
• Design Notes: Hammered shaped backplates with rolled edges, broad copper drip pans, candle cups and simple curved supports. Wall mounting holes are incorporated into each backplate.
