A large vintage silver tray is one of those pieces that can move easily from serving to decorating. This vintage Oneida silverplate serving tray measures a generous 15 inches across and features beautifully detailed floral and scrolling ornament across the center, finished with a simple beaded border. The naturally aged silver surface softens the elaborate pattern and gives the tray the collected look we love. Use it for entertaining, under a grouping of bottles or decanters, or simply leave it out on a table or console.
Our favorite detail is the center. The dense floral and scrolling pattern almost reads like an old textile when viewed from above, while the darker patina caught in the recessed areas brings out every bit of the design. At 15 inches across, it is also large enough to make a beautiful base for a collection of candlesticks, bottles or other found objects.
