Vintage Silver Wine Coaster | E&C de Uberti Italian Repoussé is a beautifully detailed piece of vintage Italian silverplate with the kind of old-world character we love. Made by E&C de Uberti in Italy, the exterior is richly decorated in dimensional repoussé with clusters of grapes, leaves, pears, and other fruit wrapping around the vessel. Darker patina has settled naturally into the recessed areas, creating wonderful contrast against the raised silver surface and making every detail of the design stand out.

Our favorite detail is the relief work. The fruit and foliage have an almost sculptural quality, while the darker patina caught in the recesses emphasizes every grape, leaf, and curve. It is ornate without feeling overly formal, and the aged silver surface gives it the relaxed, collected quality we are always looking for in vintage European pieces.
Originally designed as a bottle holder or wine coaster, we love how versatile it can be today. Use it on a bar with a favorite bottle, add a pillar candle, or repurpose it on a vanity, desk, or kitchen counter to hold brushes or utensils. Even left empty, the dimensional repoussé and aged silver make it a beautiful small decorative object.
